IMPORT EXPORT CODE REGISTRATION

Import export code is mandatory is required if businesses are importing or exporting goods from India. It is a 10 digit unique number. One IEC is sufficient for all the branches. IEC is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.  IEC need not be renewed and is issued for lifetime and also does require any filing.
